San Antonio spring restaurant festival

Ibiza meal deals

Hot on the heels of last year's successful Primavera Gastronomica, or Gastronomic Spring comes the fifth edition of this restaurant event, a promotional platform for quality food at great prices in San Antonio.

The event runs until 29 May and will see a dozen restaurants participating offering some fantastic food made with local seasonal produce. As tourists start to arrive to the island in big numbers, the event is a perfect opportunity to eat in some of the town's finest places.

Each participating restaurant will be offering a set menu including starter, main course and dessert for €15 on weekdays and €18 on weekends and national holidays. Establishments included in the festival include Villa Manchega, Villa Mercedes, Zebra, El Bistro de Stephan, El Reencuentro, Grill Sant Antoni, La Torre, Sa Punta Des Moli and S'Avaradero.

Wherever you are on the island, San Antonio and its gorgeous bay and spectacular sunsets is one of the lovliest settings for a meal. With this event, the town council hopes to attract people from across the island and this year for the first time, the set menus are printed in English to take in the tourist numbers jumping upwards in April and May.

San Antonio is justifiably proud of its culinary heritage and offers many promotional deals throughout the year, especially in winter and spring. The most recent event here saw 46 places participate in the annual pintxo festival allowing you to pass from bar to bar trying out these small bites.

Now the only thing missing from this event is you. Make sure you go and try it if only to eat like a king and save some holiday money.
