Diversity seems to have been this week's theme. One day I am stood at the Ibiza13 Rocktronic Festival watching Lenny Kravitz and DJ Luciano free-style a jamming session in front of thousands of people (one of the best value festivals I've ever been to – even the food and drinks were cheaper than most beach bars!) and the day prior had been exploring the gorgeous waters of the Mediterranean with just a snorkel and mask. Whatever your circumstance, whoever you are, there's an Ibiza for you – and without charge, gorgeous waters, great scenery and weather so lovely my friends in England are green with envy.

Talking of this diversity, this week coming we've two events that reflect this perfectly. Tomorrow night at 7pm World Family Ibiza opens. A shop that stocks island made goods of extraordinary quality, I've been watching the preparations. The community has over the last few weeks come together to give their time as painters, carpenters and much more to ready the venue. It looks beautiful. Pop along and allow yourself to be wowed.

Then next Thursday (12th July - pop it in that diary!), at the luxury hotel that is Atzaro, we have twelve international jewellers gathering to show off their glittering creations. This isn't just a cabinet display but a full catwalk show were the costumes have been made to compliment the jewellery. Nothing is done by halves. If you fancy a little glitz, a little class and what promises to be a fun night out with a difference, check out Pure Form (link takes you directly to the Facebook event, incl map!). See you there!

Hotel of the Week.

If you really want to be right where the action is then the Jet Group have exactly what you are looking for and it's all just a short walk to Bora Bora, Space, Delano Club and all the other world famous venues in the Playa d'en Bossa. Choose between the Jet Apartments, Bora Bora Apartments, Jet Bali Beach Apartments and the Arlanza Jet Apartments..... a location and a price for everyone.

Villa of the Week.

Ca Na Pepa Villa San Rafael

Ca Na Pepa is nestled between Ibiza and the village of San Rafael, this villa is ideal! Ibiza Town with the spectacular Dalt Vila and fining dining experiences and two of the mega clubs (Amnesia & Privilege) are only 5 km away.

Client's review: "Ca Na Pepa is a fantastic villa set in the countryside, the pool area is very nice and the BBQ fantastic. It is very quiet in the surrounding area, and a car is a must, however being in the centre of the island was perfect, allowing easy access to all parts. The pool is about 2 metres deep all over, so may not appeal to children, however for a group of adults it was fantastic, allowing for a refreshing dive when it got to hot.”

Stop Press: Special price from today to 31st July – just 364€ a night. Divide that by 8 people and you've got yourself a lovely luxury holiday!

Restaurant of the Week.

This week I went to (supposedly) one of the finest restaurants on the island and my meal was a disaster. Had I not had company I would have sent back the starter, the mains and not bothered to hang around for the dessert. This is where Ibiza Spotlight really stands out from the crowd because frankly, if it's lousy I'm not going to play nicey-nicey and tell you anything different. In fact, I won't even bother to give the restaurant any ‘airtime' (web-space). Want to eat well? Check out our restaurant guide

Bollywood Restaurant Santa Eulalia

However, a meal at the new Bollywood Indian Restaurant in Santa Eulalia port area delighted. If you fancy an Indian, with gorgeous yachts and the Mediterranean right before you, this is one restaurant we're pleased to recommend – and at less than 30€ a head, you'll walk away completely sated and thinking you've had a bargain! You have.

Club News of the Week.

Stivi, our club expert, always looks so cool. I saw him at the Ibiza123 Rocktronic Festival and with glorious sunshine making most of us dive into our Mojitos, he checked out the scene without breaking a sweat! Here's his take on the week:

"We're right in the middle of one of the busiest weeks of the whole summer! Sunday until Tuesday was all about the first Ibiza123 Rocktronic Festival. We all had an amazing time; read through all the reviews here (Day 1), here (Day 2) and here (Day 3)... Lenny Kravitz' concert with the full moon shining down on the place was easily one of the highlights of the season so far! He's such an amazing entertainer and he had the crowd in the palm of his hands.

"It didn't stop there for us though as the last opening parties of this summer were on the menu: on Tuesday, Carl Cox launched his season, he's again at Space and as expected, the opening party was super busy! Yesterday the Swedish House Mafia started their residency at Ushuaïa. Their announcement that they will split up at the end of the Summer was big news and I'm sure all of the three dates where the full SHM trio performs at Ushuaïa (4th July, 1st August and 29th August) will be sell outs!

Last, but not least, Richie Hawtin launches his brand new night ENTER. at Space today (on Thursday). The concept is absolutely amazing and we're all really excited for this one!

To finish with, another hint for good food and even better music: Restaurante Can Domingo on the road to San Jose (well, actually off that road and nicely set into the countryside). With a new Italian management, this place is my recommendation of the week: Enjoy a great dinner in a beautiful setting. The best thing about Can Domingo (apart of the food, of course) is Roberto Dimovi, their resident DJ. He plays there most of the nights and his mellow nu disco sets just complete the lovely setting you'll find there."
