Kaluki launches new weekly residency on Ibiza 2020

Taking over Fridays at Octan.

Famed Manchester-based label and party series Kaluki is set to embark on a brand new residency this summer.

Octan Ibiza will be its new home. Kaluki will take on Friday nights at the club from 3 July to 25 September.

Headed up by Pirate Copy and Pete Zorba, Kaluki has hosted takeovers at other parties the past few summers.

However, it now seems as though the time is right for Kaluki to step out on its own with Octan making an offer it couldn't refuse.

Having thrown one-offs here for years, 2020 will mark the first time in the party's illustrious 15 year existence it has committed to a full term.

What began life as a regular event at Sankeys MCR, it is poetic that it has found its way to the same building that once housed Sankeys Ibiza.

On paper, we think the combination of Kaluki's tech house heartbeat and Octan's intimate, rugged interior is a great match.

The move is the latest venture from party instigator Nick Yates, one of the driving forces behind some of Ibiza's most successful events.

After confirmation of the opening party date, this is the first residency news to come out of the underground club in Playa d'en Bossa. We're sure that Octan has plenty more in store for the coming season.

Further details, including line-ups and tickets will be out soon. In the meantime, stay hooked to our magazine feed.
