Just announced: Latest additions to Ibiza Rocks line-up

Ibiza Rocks has just announced several new acts to this summers line-up...

The Ibiza Rocks line-up, already featuring many of the biggest names in the music biz, just got better with the addition of Rob Da bank, Ben Howard, The Milk, Theme Park, Spector, The Maccabees, Plan B and more confirmed performances from rocks regular and island favourite Zane Lowe.

Plan B gave a memorable performance at the Ibiza Rocks opening party last summer and has been booked for a return gig this season on the 25th July. The popular London lad will perform his chart topping tracks from his album ´Defamation of Strickland Banks´ as well as new material which is guaranteed to get the party started.

After the release of their third studio album 'The Wild' earlier this year The Maccabees are set to perform on the gigs stage and work the crowd into a frenzy with their indie rock sound on the 20th June.

Having played at the first ever gig at Ibiza Rocks in 2008 BBC Radio 1 DJ Rob Da Bank returns for another performance. The man himself describes the venue and its parties as crazy and brilliant so he will no doubt bring even more excitement to the stage. He will be joined by the very talented singer-songwriter Ben Howard who will wow the crowd with his unique soft, folky and upbeat tracks such as The Wolves.

In addition to Plan B, The Maccabees and Rob Da Bank there has also been an array of breakthrough bands added to this summers gigs; just as an extra measure to keep that raw gig vibe apparent throughout the season. Rocks will be bringing acoustic Essex band The Milk to the stage for the opening party on the 6th June alongside Ed Sheeran. On the 20th June The Maccabees will be joined by the exciting and fresh UK band Theme Park and finally the upbeat foot tapping five-piece indie rock band Spector will give the Kaiser Chiefs a run for their money the following week on the 27th June.

Completing this exciting name dropping announcement is the addition of a few more dates for none other than Ibiza Rocks' very own Music director Zane Lowe on 11th July, 25th July and 5th September. So with one or two special guests yet to be confirmed the Ibiza Rocks season is fit for a king... Rocking ´el!
