Aquabus gives customers extra time to do more

Ferry good options with expanded shuttle service

Offering great services at great prices is something Aquabus Ferryboats has been doing for customers since it first launched 20 years ago. The company simply wants its customers to get more out of Ibiza, offering its popular island cruises and ferry services to and from Formentera, always at low cost and without compromise on quality of service.

New for July and August is an expanded shuttle service between La Savina, Formentera and Ibiza Town, which means people arriving or departing via late or early morning flights can make the most out of their time on Formentera with little waiting around time. The additional departures leave at either 1.30am or 7am from Formentera to Ibiza and at 00.30am or 6am from Ibiza Town to Formentera. For those arriving to Ibiza on late flights, this means they can go direct to their destination, without the additional cost of spending the night in Ibiza.

Another bonus for these months is that all return tickets within a 24-hour period from departure are valid to go in both directions. For those who want to stay out late and enjoy the night time ambience in Formentera, this is a big bonus. After a day's sightseeing, people can relax, eat dinner in a nice restaurant and then take the late service back. Those staying in Formentera wanting to visit Ibiza can now have a longer day out to do some extra sightseeing as well. They can even take advantage of the inimitable Ibiza nightlife by going to a club or late bar and then getting the late or early ferry back. Whatever you choose to do, these extra options provide you with a lot more time to do what you want.

There are many ways to discover Ibiza and its incredible natural beauty; one of the best ways to discover this is by boat. Aquabus offers special cruises with departure points all across the different hubs of Ibiza. You can be taken directly to the famous Punta Arabí hippy market in Ibiza each Wednesday, landing at Cala Martina beach, with the market only a couple of minutes walk away. All the cruises afford you the option of seeing Ibiza's stunning rugged coastline, which is a beautiful sight to behold, giving you more reasons to love the island.

The guided cruise tour of the caves of Can Marça around San Miguel in the north takes you on a spectacular journey to lots of secret coves and is completely guided, so you can learn something too. This takes place three times a week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. On Mondays and Fridays you can do a tour of the whole island by boat. With this you get to swim in front of Tagamogo Island, pass the mystical Es Vedra and are given an hour-long stop in Dalt Vila, the oldest part of Ibiza Town. A light picnic and drinks is included and there's a snack bar on board if you're extra peckish.

There are lots of choices to see more of Ibiza and Formentera at attractive rates with Aquabus Ferryboats, how you use that is up to you. Buen viaje!
