Eden gives UK Garage a spin-back on Wednesday nights
Legendary San Antonio gem Eden Ibiza is giving Garage its moment this summer, overseeing a much needed revival of a sound that once defined dancefloors as much as House music does in the modern day.
Across a packed Wednesday programme running from June through September, Eden is presenting three of the most important names in UKG culture: DJ EZ, Garage Nation and 23 Degrees.
The series opens with 23 Degrees, a brand built around the authentic spirit of UK Garage and the community that never stopped loving it.
As well as some special one-offs, unannounced back-to-back sets on an "if you know, you know" basis, headliners include pioneers like MJ Cole and the best of the new school, such as Flava D, as well as contributions from Bakey, Capo Lee, Fold, Main Phase, Reeko, RTK Tarantino, Skeptic, Silva Snipa, Yemz and more.
The party runs every week from 17 June through to 22 July.
July closes with the first of two very special nights curated by DJ EZ - arguably the greatest selector the genre has ever produced. A man whose technical wizardry and textbook knowledge of the music are the stuff of genuine legend, EZ has assembled line-ups that mirror his taste.
Minimal mainstay Seb Zito, Todd Edwards, The Menendez Brothers and G33 from Girls Don't Sync, are all on hand to deliver the Garage goods across two nights: 29 July and 26 August.
Then, from August through to the end of September (aside from 26 August, which is passed back over to EZ), Garage Nation takes the reins. The long-running club night has spent nearly three decades driving UK Garage from the underground into the mainstream.
Standout names throughout the series for all parties include every name you'd possibly hope to find on a Garage line-up.
Artful Dodger, DJ Bugzee, CKP, Creed, Heartless Crew, Kie, Kofi B, Maxwell D, MC DT, Norris Da Boss Windross, Pied Piper, Preshus, PSG, Scott Garcia, Sharky P, Special MC, Vapour, Wideboys, Wookie and more, plus huge names such as DJ Luck & MC Neat, Oxide & Neutrino, Pied Piper and former members of So Solid Crew, Romeo & Lisa Mafia.
This is an authentic and unmissable reminder that the sounds that came out of Britain in the late 1990s and early 2000s and defined a generation. While tastes my change, class is permanent. Eden always know how to stand out, and channel genres that no other club does.
