Armin Van Buuren will 'Be' at Space in 2011

Celebrated trance DJ Armin Van Buuren leaves his long running residency at Amnesia to take on Wednesday nights at Space for the party 'Be'.

It's been confirmed by Space that Armin Van Buuren, 4 time consecutive winner of DJ Mag's Top 100 Poll, has left Amnesia Tuesdays and moved to Space Wednesdays.

He will become the headline artist of Space's 'Be' Fiesta, now entering into its 4th season, alongside partners-in-crime like Markus Schulz, Gareth Emery and Jerome Isma-Ae. They will take over the Discoteca for all their dates, including Armin's debut on 29th June, an 'Armin Only' extended set on August 10th and a special 'A State of Trance' show on September 7th. Be's closing fiesta is Wednesday 14th.

Also involved, as in previous years, is Wally Lopez, who will take charge of the Terraza with support from Fedde Le Grand, Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano, amongst others.

Armin said:

“After a number of fantastic years at Amnesia, I'm really looking forward to my first season at Space this summer. I'm really proud and honoured to work with such an established brand as Space. It's every DJ's dream to play in a club like this. It fits my sound perfectly. For me, it's the next step in my career and I'm really looking forward to the summer!”
