Run and explore in the Ibiza Marathon 

Join the thousands who run the Ibiza Marathon to experience a different perspective of the island

Thousands of runners from around the world will run in the Ibiza Marathon on Saturday 8 April 2017. The race will take in some of the amazing sights of the island: a great opportunity to combine an adrenaline rush with the natural beauty of the White Isle.

Starting in the Town Hall square in Santa Eulalia, runners will head towards Ibiza Town via the stylish Marina Botafoch. The historic heritage of the fortified old town Dalt Vila is also included in the route.

Participants will experience lush countryside adorned with spring wildflowers, plus pine forests provide some shade along the way. Es Caná will offer views of the sandy beach and sparkling turquoise water.

Then, after 42,195 metres, runners will pass Santa Eulalia's lively marina before arriving triumphant at the finish. Because of the unique afternoon start, contestants will be rewarded by the sight of Ibiza's famous sunset.

If the thought of a full marathon is just too much, there is a race for you. For the first time this year, a 12km race which will be run in parallel, which will take in some of the same gorgeous scenery, so there's no reason to miss out.

The Ibiza Marathon offers exertion, culture, heritage and nature. Remember to get your finisher medal engraved too. You are going to want a permanent reminder of this wonderful experience.

Choose Ibiza for your first marathon or add it to the list of achievements. Either way, it will be one of the most scenic runs you have ever experienced. Register before 31 March to take advantage of a reduced entrance fee of €65.
