Bedouin's next guests for SAGA at HEART

Prepare to dance amazed.

Bedouin presents SAGA at HEART Ibiza is the answer to beating those end of the weekend blues. Brooklyn-based duo Bedouin always turns up to the party with a rich buffet of fellow enigmatic and immersive DJs and Sunday 18 August is no exception.

The glorious summer romance between party curators Bedouin and illustrious Marina Botafoch nightclub HEART has now become a full-blown love affair in their third year on the island.

HEART's charming visual production projected onto the walls and grandeur sense of style elevates the night's free-spiritedness and storytelling powers.

Renowned DJs who have previously played SAGA Sundays have included Luciano, Guy Gerber, Adam Port and Jimi Jules. However, the rest of the season line-ups are just as juicy, starting with this Sunday 18 August.

The exclusive three-tier line-up tells us that we will be treated to a full set from each with plenty of time for each DJ to get a little experimental. Oh yes.

Here is our lowdown of the mix maestros who will be leading the party on Sunday night

Serge Devant

Opening the evening's entertainment is New York export Serge Devant. A fairly fresh face on the scene, he has wasted no time taking the industry by storm on arrival.

Spending his teenage years absorbing the '90s club sounds of the big apple, he brings an old-school undertone to the decks.

Serge Devant then went on to produce a somewhat curveball track of his career. This one caught the attention of highly respected record label owners and all-round industry heavy-weights Lee Foss and Jamie Jones.

The collaboration would go on to see the resurrection of pivotal track Fearing Love with an all-new vocal topline.

Check out the sound that ruffled the musically-geared feathers of Foss and Jones when they discovered Serge Devant. You will like it.

The suave sounds and cosmopolitan flair of New York will struggle to be better placed than in the glimmering walls of HEART Ibiza.

Audiofly

Anthony Middleton and Luca Saporito are the driving force behind Audiofly. The industry concept has so many ranks under its belt they could be compared to a military machine by their work ethic standards.

In their time under the Audiofly name, the dynamic duo has successfully launched three record labels and the internationally celebrated event Flying Circus.

The likes of Blond:ish, Dance Spirit and even SAGA party hosts Bedouin have performed under the Flying Circus name. Their most recent development is an exploration into the multisensory dimensions in which they can captivate an audience through music.

This makes us all the more intrigued to see the pair play this weekend, as HEART is well known for its immersive qualities as a high-end production venue. It is going to be magic.

Bedouin

Finally, enchanting us with their hypnotic beats and sporadic library of samples is the ever enigmatic pairing of Tamer Malki and Rami Abousabe known as Bedouin.

The puppet masters of the entire SAGA production, their fine skills as selectors are reflected not only in their live sets but also through the cherry-picked line-up they deliver each week.

Drawing on influences from personal endeavours into various cultures, the Bedouin sound perfectly blends deep moody electronica with an aroma of melodic, often percussive, sounds.

A track that conveys this mysterious manner of music is Flamma which was released back in 2018 on the Wastelands EP. Have a listen and prepare to fall under the spell of Bedouin.

Be sure to stick around to witness these guys take the dance floor of HEART into another realm altogether using nothing but the power of music.

If you are after some of the best sound on the Ibiza clubbing scene, SAGA at HEART might be the perfect remedy. Deep, unique and profoundly mysterious, the party offers ethnic house - aka shamanic or desert house - at its finest.

Taking into consideration the musically rich line-up discussed, Sunday 18 August stands out as the ideal time to head along to SAGA.

If you're not on the island, worry not. With Blond:ish, SIS, Red Axes, Stavroz, &ME, Trikk, Jamie Jones, Clint Lee, Damian Lazarus and more, the rest of the season is looking mighty juicy, too.
