Far from the beaten track, under wraps and off the radar, Underground Ibiza caters to fans of underground music on the down-low. In 2019, Zero Logistics returns to the San Rafael venue with a quadruple party series called Zero presents - two parties in July, followed by two in September.
Following their last hook-up in October 2018, Zero again combines with Roots for the opener on Tuesday 2 July. To mark the first party of four, Scacco and distinguished Italian selector Francesco Del Garda are the DJs charged with handling proceedings.
The second takeover - on Saturday 20 July - sees Argentinian club Avant Garten arrive on tour. The intimate 250-capacity club from Buenos Aires keeps things authentically Argentine with European-based compatriots Gulp and Jessica Diaz both playing, as well as Cocooner Dorian Paic.
At the opposite end of summer, the next shows welcome famed Frankfurt label Pressure Traxx. Revered members of the label's alumni, including Andy Kowles and Giuliano Lomonte, are set to play on 21 September. Arno and Frost will also play back-to-back on this date.
Finally, Francesco Del Garda and Scacco return on Saturday 28 September for Loud-Contact. Quest is the third and final act for the seasoned Barcelona-hailing promoter, that makes the short trip from the mainland for the occasion.
Those familiar with Underground will know exactly what to expect: intimate low-key affairs with less-known but assured selectors at the wheel. No pomp or promotion, and no need. You can always count on a knowledgeable crowd to be in attendance.
