No Sin Mis Huesos was inspired specifically by the 400 year commemoration of Cervantes' death in 1616. Focusing on the sociocultural context of Cervantes, the company found inspiration in the great diversity of cultures that influenced the writer. Cervantes, a soldier no longer able to fight, directed his passion into his quest as a writer, an example among many of redirecting negative energy into art.
