A new initiative born on Ibiza called Together for Healthcare Heroes is being launched to offer free holidays in beautiful European locations to healthcare workers across Europe.
With doctors, nurses and support staff tirelessly supporting so many during the global SARS-CoV2 pandemic, this exciting launch helps to give something back to them and show appreciation for their hard work - Ibiza Spotlight is proud to be able to highlight this great scheme.
To date, 60 hotel rooms and private homes are being offered on Ibiza already, with the Concept Group and OD Hotels amongst the big hotel groups offering support. Holidays are being offered for 2021 in the months of April, May and October.
Together for Healthcare Heroes has been set up by a mix of local businesses and homeowners who aim to be able to offer a total of 10.000 holidays across the European continent. As well as providing free accommodation, the organisation is also hoping to raise money to offer flights, free meals, entrance tickets and discounted services too.

Commenting on the launch, Together for Healthcare Heroes' advisory board member, Professor Olivier Borens, notes: “The medical profession has faced one of the hardest years in history. I am very proud to be part of an initiative that recognises this and is celebrating all those working in hospitals.”
A long list of 17 European countries is expected to be signed including the UK, Germany, France, Italy and The Netherlands as well as places like Greece, Portugal, Sweden and Austria.
