Every summer celebrations are held around the wells found in various palces around the island.
The neighbourhood of the Pou de Beimussa. is celebrating the end of the harvest and giving thanks for the plentiful supply of water.
Around the wells there will be folk dancing & singing, and sampling of local wines and typical sweet pastries.
